Voice One houses an intimate theatre for improv and radio drama performances.
It is also used for acting, improv and on-camera classes.
Improv
drop-in classes, under the direction of master improviser
Brady Lea, are held weekly from 5:30pm-8:30pm on Sunday
nights. Cost is only $10, cash at the door. All levels and
ages are welcome. No preregistration required. Just show
up ready to have fun!
Voice One's SUNDAY RECESS performs several
times a year. Admission is only $5 cash at the door. (No
reservations are necessary.)
Elaine Clark directs and produces an original Radio
Drama once a year.
It is the culmination of a very intense 4 week writing
and performance
class. All are welcome to either sign up for the class
or attend the
free performances.
Voice One has also produced many plays and
showcases on our stage. Past performances include: Actor,
You're Killing Me (original interactive play by
Scott Munson and Elaine Clark and winner of the 2003 San Francisco Fringe Festival
Sold Out Award), True West, Bleacher Bums, Seducing the
Audience, The Typist
and the Tiger, Shakespeare's Shorts, The Show Must Go On, Strange Snow,
Laundry & Bourbon, and Voices.
