NAILING THE AUDITION

IN THE STUDIO: Triple Threat
with Ned Lott
 
Ned (producer/director from Disney Character Voices Inc., Walden Media, Square-Enix and The Learning Company) shares his expertise in animation, interactive and anime. Three sections include:
1. Challenges to match intensity with sound effects, create a sparkling character and immediately incorporate direction into a finished performance.
2. Blue screen, narration and singing in character. Be prepared to act out a character on stage as well as behind a microphone.
3. Read to time, music, sound effects in the recording studio as you loop classic Disney voices!
(Prerequisite: Character Core Curriculum classes and/or prior work experience.)

TOY VOICES
with Cristina Ulloa
   
Creatively, the toy company, hires talent on a regular basis for their nationally distributed toys. The first class is at Voice One, where you'll work on mic as you learn to apply CriStina's tips on how to make your voice stand out in a toy. The second week we'll take a field trip to CreAtivity's studios and offices in San Carlos. You'll view some of the toys they produced and get a chance to work in their professional recording studio!

VIDEO GAME CHALLENGE

This former talent agent is now casting at Electronic Arts, the game company. Learn some inside industry tips, how to compete effectively against Hollywood talent, and where the industry is going. This is a hands-on class with plenty of mic time and valuable information.
